1. I would consider this the NLOTH era, not the trilogy Mark

  2. Okay, there's been 5 years inbetween, so you're probably right
Still, this could be all taken as 'now' (Even tough ATYCLB is 9 yeas ago )

Totally Agree why join a U2 fan site if you dont like them.......FOOL

Bye u2 and go do your Good Morning America concert and prove that you are the sellouts that all "real" u2 fans have said you have become. You continually ruin the reputation you had. I for one, don't consider U2 a great band anymore and by the looks of the sales and concerts for the last 10 years , most people agree.

Well maybe that's true, but it doesn't make all their old stuff dirt as well. I'd say Achtung Baby was their last truly great album, but the best bits of the subsequent abums have been really rather good. Original Of The Species should have been a proper single, not just a poxy download.

As things stand, however, I'm not rushing out to get NLOTH!

Then remember all the fans like me who used to be there and loved U2 ade replaced with the
17 year old punks who wouldn't know good music if it slapped them in the face.
There are many more U2 former fans than there are new fans so if you want your precious
U2 to continue making records and touring you better hope they listen to the people who made them the stars they are today. We are fed up with them and now are hoping to see them retire

Ha ha ha!! Ha ha ha HA!

You are so funny! Were you born with this gift? Or did you pick it up from years of watching? Hilarious stuff mate! Ha ha HA!!!

Seriously, pull your head out of your ass. And don't say that young people have no sense of good music. Becasue that couldn't be farther from the truth, especially of the "kids" here.

Exactly. Kids can have good taste. Music isn't something only for the big grown ups, we can listen and enjoy it too.

Oh and btw, sarcasm is another thing us "punks" can have too, as Nick just expressed
Not trying to be an ass or anything, but it just irks me when people automatically assume kids have shit taste

    Exactly.

btw, nice use of the word "irk" lol.
  8. Can someone ban this mature old troll who thinks his taste in music is the standard? What new records were made by veteran bands that were able to capture an entirely new generation of fans? Thats how relevant U2 is. I love U2 but there are many things that I dont like about them but you sound like a fool and your insulting "kids" who probably know more about good music than you. Reading these posts makes me believe your the kid and the young ones are years beyond you in maturity. Go troll elsewhere

As I told Mr. Topic starter earlier: I'm 17. I couldn't get into them before ATYCLB. You and Nick had HTDAAB as first album you were able to witness. Does that make you less fan? No. Maybe if you were born 25 years earlier you would've enjoyed Boy.
That you like U2 nowadays is logical: you grew up with it. I grew up with BD, you two probably with Vertigo/maybe BD too...
  10. Leave him alone,
He just read the article "U2 finally lost his relevance" and wants the world to know he can read and understand a whole newspaper-article
