    As for backing tracks, loops etc. I have no problem with this either. It's part of what makes songs like Bad so great.

    He plays throughout by the looks of it, but it's not all the rhythm part of the song. Of course, shocking as it may appear, I could be wrong
  4. I understand Larry only hitting the snare for the "Let Me In The Sound" part (it looks better), but I'm not a big fan of the vocal tracks. It sounds too obvious. Once I'm in the crowd, I won't care though.
  5. Teleprompting bothers me less than it did. I guess there's a lot of stuff to remember, especially the less frequently played songs. Have to say, he generally covers it up very well too....

  8. Yes, he plays the entire song, however for the "let me in the sound" part, I realized it's just the snare, with a backing track.
  9. As long as the song sounds remotely like what it should then that's cool - that's what I go to hear and see. But too much playback becomes irritating - one very prominent and so-called 'live' artist happened to use a lot of playback in his shows (for two entire tours!), and that annoyed me big-time.

    We pay $100 - $250 for a ticket to a show, I wanna see 95% of the song actually live.

    If I want a playback gig, I'll go play U2 records somewhere in town and get a whole bunch of people to cheer when Breathe ends.

  11. Michael Jackson, King of Lip-Sync. Earth Song at Munich 1999 is a great example but it looks painful.

    Anyway it's off topic a bit but I see so many doing it now. Katy Perry was another.
  12. I'm using iPod so I can't edit posts but it just annoys me that a band that has been doing shows 30 years now won't go out there and play the song as four guys, not five guys and a drum machine. May as well call them U2DM.
