    where did it ever say it was a revolving stage?? didn't you look at the 360 preview on u2.com? it clearly showed "NO" revolving stage. What did you expect? that they'd play half the show to a 10,000 ppl and the other half to 70,000plus? I was offered behind stage but wouldn't take tickets as it was obvious the view you'd get - blame the echo on the wembley roof not the band. Standing tickets were going on ebay for under face value as they are today. I agree that the concept is ill thought out as i wouldn't want to sit watching Larrys back, if you feel hard done by contact consumer credit and live nation, but as stage not advertised as revolving I doubt you'll have a chance of getting your money back
  2. I saw Metallica this year and THAT was 360°. On each side were people, the drummer turned around and the other bandmembers switched sides frequently. I understand your problem but it wasn't a bad concert. It blew my mind

    That's true. I've never BEEN to a U2 show and probably wouldn't be going if I didn't have an awesome brother in law who got tickets for me, in which case I would have traded with you ANY day.

    I could've told you guys beforehand that it's not like sitting/standing at the front it's impossible for the guys to be everywhere equally (and even then, people'd have nagged about something).

    EXACTLY.
    and people also have to remember that there's a LOT more people at the front of the stage than at the back, so obviously they can't split the time very close to equal.

    Wrong wrong wrong - the Drum riser did rotate througout the night and face the rear of the stadium and by no means was U2 having an off night - this was one of the best U2 gigs i have seen and they were clearly enjoying it trust me, he was working all four sides of the crowd, for me Wembley 14th 10/10 cant wait for cardiff - as already mentioned in another post the stage was at no point billed to rotate - the seating configuration and screen is whats 360 degrees.
    oh well i guess negativity feeds - so a couple of fans didnt enjoy it so U2 are suddenly below par - let me tell you the Boys would tell you a very different story.
  7. This has to be one of the most ridiculous posts i've ever read.

    NOWHERE did it EVER say that the stage would rotate. Only Larry's platform rotates.

    I had seats behind the stage in Milan for the second show and thought it was amazing. You could see everything from there. Light show, claw, crowd, just great. Band went to the back a lot. No complaints. If you want to get close to the stage and the band you have to take GA.

    From what I've seen and read about the London show and from the reviews it must have been an AMAZING event, probalbly one of the best concerts of the tour. Great energy, band in good form, Bono's voice amazing, great singing. Even people who said they weren' t big U2 fans admitted that it was the most impressive show they've ever seen.

    I've watched some You Tube clips, man how I wish I could have been there. Sadly, the tour ended in Zagreb for me.

    Only sad thing is that there won't be a Wembley DVD.
  8. Tickets behind the stage are a little hit and miss, imho.

    If you're lucky, the band is in the mood and you see all members a few times. If they have a bad day, you see Larry playing for you during 2 songs, and the rest walking on by during Crazy.

    I think 30€ are fair for these seats. 75€ (like in Amsterdam for example) are a joke (especially if they advertise with 360).
    It's an even bigger ripoff when you can't choose your seats in the presale like on ticketmaster and eventim. But that's not entirely U2's fault.

    That standard answer is pimped up with a 1st hand report from a DIFFERENT concert and 2nd hand Wembley experiences, though. So kudos for that.
