1. Hey I recorded it last night from radio city liverpool, but it was on fm as my DAB was shite to be honest.

I used my memory stick and it's recorded at 320 kbps and the quality to my ears is excellent.I edited it into tracks and listened to it this morning at work. Not blowing me own trumpet but I doubt many will be of any better quality.

Here's the megaupload link and remy if you are around you're welcome to use it for the site.

    Enjoy!

Ditto! I tried downloaded the interview posted in this thread last night, but after joining the two parts and trying to unzip the .zip file, I kept getting the following message CRC failed in 01 - Build Up (Top 10 U2 Singles and Interview).mp3. The file is corrupt and gave up

I'm off to download the lossless on the bootleg page, but would love to have the interview too.

Being in the Mexican waves this time was a proper laugh, got the whole place in high spirits before the band took to the stage and I think it stayed that way throughout

Was a great night. Shame the stadium is shit. Line up for my block then get told we have to go through the other doors on the other side of the stadium, which is for blocks 1-10 in the covered area. Then we have to walk all the way back round (but inside the stadium gates) in the rain to get to my seat. Poor stadium.

So, which is better? This recording ^^^, the Q recording or the AUD recording? Downloaded the Q yesterday and sounds pretty decent.

EDIT: Have to say that this Radio City Liverpool recording is a lot clearer.

Ah fair kop, we blagged seats in row S c. ISHFWILF, but yeah I know exactly what you mean lol - we got off the tram and wandered to the queue for our blocks, but then someone said it was a GA queue and that we'd have to go wandering around to the other side of the stadium, and so we did and by the time we'd done that we got told to wander back around again to exactly the same spot as we started, get through the gates supposedly only for GA and then toodled to our seats. Ah well, good exercise and I got my tour shirt before it started raining so I had something clean to wear for the drive home yesterday

EDIT - gibbo1968, loving your recording! Very clear, coming out fantastically in my speakers thanks!
  9. I have the Space Oddity/Kingdom Come intro from Sheffield that is missing off the radio recordings. It was recorded as a video on a camera but I have cleaned it up a bit with an audio program and the quality is OK. Can I upload it anywhere?

Just been told by Reme that nobody is interested in my recording. Sorry for wasting your time folks. I like it anyway; it sets up the radio recording really nicely and takes me back to the moment the claw came to life.

  10. Wookie's recording is perfect, except for Vertigo, that has a little skip, but I'll gladly use that 320kb/s mp3 for that one.

But thanks for the effort! It's just not a good idea to mix audience tracks with broadcast tracks generally, especially since the tracks aren't a real part of the set. Maybe it's a nice addition to the audience recording we also have.
