1. HOLD ON............ I have been listening to the 9 songs Muse played in Atlanta and thought they sounded familiar, but I could not figure it out since I don't know of a Muse song or really heard of them. Then it hit me when I heard "Undisclosed Desires" again... it sounds like Depeche Modes' StrangeLove." Also, "Map of the Problematique" sounds a lot like "Enjoy the Silence" by Depeche Mode....

    Errmm. No, it really doesn't.

    Glad you like it though
My favourite Muse track by some distance.

As long as you liked it

Today, I bought Absolution, The Resistance and Black Holes and Revelations from iTunes. These guys are really good.

  5. I really like these guys, my favorite album is Absolution and my favorite song is Hysteria.....Matt is a guitar hero....but, in my opinion, in the beginning, he sounded too much alike Thom Yorke ...But it´s one of the best acts out there! Resistance is pretty solid but not their best...
  6. Hysteria is a great song indeed

  7. The muse song that got me hooked
ended up playing it at my school's spring concert actually

  8. they still sound quite alike to me....but more in the beginning of Muse...

  9. Well, Matt sings in falsetto a lot too, it's just an edgier form of falsetto
But like I said before, Thom Yorke's voice is too unique to be duplicated
It's like he uses his voice as an instrument, rather than just a voice

  10. I see what you're saying but I still don't buy anything other than a passing vague similarity in that initial beat of the DM song.

Fabulous that you like it and have discovered new music
