  1. Of course, Streets is still being one of the best songs, but it hasn't been a hightlight of the show since PoPMart (in which was really great, with Please).

    I don't like it. I LOVE it. But I don't consider Streets as a "usual" (regular, night-after-night, etc) highlight on the Elevation Tour. They're all "average" versions, very good but average.

    I think Streets would have been a highlight on all Elevation shows. It's the one song I look most forward to on an Elervation Tour bootleg. It has the red backdrop and the lights. Thats all it needs to be awesome

    Yes, and the Bad-40 intro is just amazing.

    as is the All I Want Is You intro (when they got it right). And the Bad/Wild Horses intro. Elevation performances are tied with ZooTV as my favourite performances of Streets. Edge's guitar sounded wonderful, the pace was great, the intros and Bono gave it good on most nights. Can't complain at all

    I also love the All I Want Is You to Streets on the Lovetown tour at Dublin(I think it was the 26), where he recites a poem and end "where the streets have no name, take me, take me!"

    I think the combo Pride + Streets didn't work, not only for the lights, but also because those songs don't "flow" as one as Running to Stand Still(Zoo TV), All I Want Is You(Lovetown/Elevation), Please(Popmart) or Bad/40(Elevation). Actually i think that it would have been better if Streets was places after Miss Sarajevo or Running to Stand Still.

    Amen. But I think he will never return to top form, unless he quit smoking and drinking and even with that, he is much older than on Zoo TV-Joshua Tree era, with a miracle he may return to the Zoo TV voice, but definitely not to the Joshua Tree.

    The Popmart one is my favorite (the Rotterdam one is a great one, on the Please single ) but in opening of the shows (like JT/Lovetown) and transition from RTSS in ZOO TV are 2nd (tie)

    I don't think he ever returns to Zoo TV voice, although the voice of Vertigo has been much better than the PoPMart one.

    Bono's voice evolution is so unique. How many artists have had their voice go through so many era's. I'm loving te 5th Leg Vertigo voice and although it will never be what it was, at least its not Popmart or 4th leg Vertigo
  11. I think they should retire Pride, One, New Year's Day, and Sunday Bloody Sunday. I almost included Streets in there but I think they can still get some juice of that one if they didn't play it as often. All of these songs sound tired to me. They don't have near the energy they used to. I think they'll continue to play all of them though which is OK. I don't dislike any of them.

    I agree w/u on Pride and New year's day. I think these song definitely show the sings of age, I mean, they're wonderful songs, but in the future shows they should try to limit the performance.....after so many years they start to become boring, and Bullet the blue sky as well !.

    IMO the word "dropped" is too much, but for sure these songs, and maybe some others should be less performed. This would preserve them
