    What an asshole.

Which skater ? I can only think of Skobrev if its about ice skating. And he goes as a happy man full of humour

Dunno, actually...my mom was just ranting about it in the other room.

She said apparently, he performed some really hard spin that the gold medalist didn't do, but still ended up scoring lower, and was baffled. He was publicly stating that he doesn't agree, and thinks he should've won...something very unsportsmanlike in my opinion. If you lose, especially in the Olympics, I think you should be able to respect who won. You're competing with the WORLD, not your neighborhood. Apparently, he has his own website of sorts, and has posted all over it about how he's declaring himself the "platinum winner".

I don't think RUSSIANS are assholes- I'll make that clear. I think THIS Russian is an asshole.
  3. Ahh not speed skating, then its not Skobrev Don't know anything about figure skating though

Anyway Lee is amazing, how fast he is in his short career. But still this was a dramatic fuck up and Kramer deserved the gold.

Hope Kramer and his coach can work it out Because it doesnt really matter any more who's fault it was, they need to get past it together. Probably not this day, month or season. But they have shared many successes

I just saw it on the sport news. it's incredible things like that must not happen, but they're humans after all, the coach didn't do this on purpose. But can you ever get over that? as coach, and as athlete? gosh, can't believe it
  5. The way they work together will change forever. I hope this doesn't affect his further actions on the Olympics.
  6. I bet Dutch newspapers will burst with that story.
  7. And today Sablikova on 5 km... I hope she will do it. She will be under pressure, but 5km is her best part...
  8. Ad she did it!!!!!
Two golds and one bronze... unbelievable

  9. Great achievement there indeed, lots of progress made over the last 4 years
