I didnt stay up till 4am and go out into 6 degree temps (thats really cold for where i live ) to watch Verbeek put out sum bullshit side like that, 1 striker upfront all by himself is stupid, the germans would just double team them. we lacked pace going forward and very rarely looked dangerous. the cahill card was a joke wasnt even 2 footed or studs raised. that googly-eyed number 8 shoulda got a red card for diving.
    for the next game vs ghana he needs to play kewell, bresciano and Kennedy if they r fit, and have more then 1 upfront. i am confident if we play to our potential we can still beat Ghana and serbia. but if we play like we did last night then the boys will be back in Aus b4 they know it

    Let's not get too rash with our judgements. It is one game afterall and the top side in our group.

    But not looking promising for the rest of the group stage. Kewell must play now that Cahill's gone, even if not 100% fit.
  3. first half of Holland vs Denmark almost over..... what's wrong with Oranje?! so many chances and they don't succeed to make the goals. I haven't seen any of the Dutch test games prior to the WC, how have they been? I had expected a fresh good game from both teams, but so far..... they both have to get better in the second half.

    and I can't believe I'm actually cheering for Oranje.... the forbidden thing is there any chance that Germany and Holland get together during the WC?

    and OMG I just bought one of those Vuvuzela things at a local gas station.... they make a monster sound .........
  4. Holland is crap atm. They only have two modes:

    * God-mode
    * Suck-mode

    Lets hope they can switch. Or are lucky

    De Jong should be taken out of the team, should've got the red card already

    Game to forget, both teams lacked creativity. Denmark was terrible though, I think Holland deserved the win.

  8. I can't believe you bought a bubuzela, Kirsten.............. I HATE THEM!!! Watching the matches is soooooo annoying with that continous zwoooo zwooooooo zwooooooooow zwoooo zwooooo zwoooooo going on the background, it's really really annoying!!

    Does no one bring them to matches in Europe? I feel like it's pretty standard over here on this side of the ocean....
  10. No vuvuzelas here in Europe.

    Much more atmosphere when the crowd chants instead of blowing their horns On TV they put them down in the mix, which makes the whole game feel just as empty like a training game with some bee's attending.
  11. Holland 2-0 Denmark. Not the best match, but a weak start could grow to a strong end

    And we beat Ghana with 4-1 and Hungary 6-1. Not the world's best opponents though.
