A horrible injustice done to the USA who played one of the best halves of football i've ever seen and deserved to come out with 3 points only to be robbed by a terrible official reffing his first ever world cup game. Hopefully it is also his last.

What a shocking game - we were just 8 munutes away from the second round...

Although to be honest - the 3rd goal of the Yankees was regular...

Still not a bad result for us, the chances for the 1/16 finals are rising..

I was able to watch the first (the bad) half before work, and watched the updates online for the 2nd half. Can't wait to go home and watch the second half replay, although I'm probably going to throw my TV out the window. All accounts I've read said it was horrible officiating the entire match, and not just the called off goal.

I totally agree. England have been shockingly awful this worldcup. This has to be one of the worst worldcup performances from England. The passing was absolutely horrendous - we kept giving away the ball to Algeria soo many times. Just utterly dreadful.
