  1. I think U2start can better stop if we would display a FLAC download at the Seville show page instead of the MP3 download. I would have a fulltime job on handling all the requests.

    I think if you look at the people who've been to the Seville show, thanks to us more of them will be able to live their experience. And that's amazing, something that washes all the other stuff away.
  2. If we lose tapers, then that won't matter. No one will notice.

    We might notice if no more shows from the upcoming legs are shared online due to lack of respect and ignorance.

    you never answer questions asked ... so ... who uploaded achtung_baby01's recording in mp3?
    wasnt' it written in the info file to not convert to mp3 to distribute but only for personal use? when are you gonna be respecting tapers' whishes? how much do you make a month from this site (donations included).

    these are the interesting questions i'd like to see answered

  6. But respecting taper's wishes and at least trying to obey. Sorry but right now it seems u2start's goal is not sharing the love for U2 but gaining popularty by having all those MP3s. But well, as you can see we will not have to discuss any further in the future hence there simply will not be any more recordings by some tapers. THANKS AGAIN.

    It's all about the majority, if 90% of the fans that come here say to us hey, we can do without MP3, just give us FLAC, then we do that. The more U2 fans we can make happy, the better. And if that includes some pissed ones, ah well, there always will be.

    Ah well, those few won't be missed. There always will be enough tapers who love to make as many people happy as possible by sharing their stuff. And we are motivated as hell to praise them all and thank them gratefully for all their efforts.

    No I said that, and I stopped uploading bootlegs a while back, only once in a while i do. Doesnt mean i dont agree with Remy

    you're joking right ? that's not thanks to you but thanks to achtun_baby01, you have nothing to do with it if it wasn't the fact you took someone else's recording and uploaded it on your website. don't take credit for something you don't deserve.

    Well if you look purely at the numbers then it's thanks to us that the recording by achtung_baby01 will get to more people. In the end, it's all about achtung_baby01's efforts indeed, and we can't take enough time and space on our website to thank him for his efforts. You're right about that.
