    Very true.If you give an opinion on something,and he doesnt agree,you are then wrong.His OPINION is of course correct.Not yours.Just his.At first,I thought he was kidding.He isnt.His comments are offensive,and very obnoxious.

    Falling Down actually fits U2 pretty well, good choice. Moreover, the "Too late, I already found what I was looking for" verse would be an ironic twist to the U2 classic

  6. Yep. As well as Muse playing U2 wouldn't work except on very special ocassions (Streets last year featuring The Edge is a perfect example of that ).


    By the way, not a lot of comments about Coldplay headlining too... What do you think? They have an album almost finished as far as I know, do you think they will throw some new songs over there? It would be the perfect chance to promote their album (which is said to be released around September) for free

    Anyway I expect a 360 setlist, with a few changes. I really hope they mix up the mid-to-encore-break section. They have to do something with that anyway. Without the Claw its much harder to put up a Crazy Remix or the lightshow of COBL.

    I have Las Vegas 1997 in my mind when I think of Crazy Tonight Remix on a 'non-claw' stage. The Claw really gives it a indoor 'club' like feeling. All that will be lost on the pyramid stage.

    I really hope they don't play a standard 360 setlist. Ok I'm not saying they should play Like A Song, Acrobat, If You Wear That Velvet Dress, Dirty Day, Stories For Boys, Last Night On Earth and I Threw A Brick/A Day Without Me in a row... But please, change it a bit. Shake it up, baby!! A bit of Pop would be great (even if it's just Staring At The Sun, although Discoteque or Gone would be fantastic choices), as well as some Zooropa (Stay?) and Achtung Baby (other from One, thanks... What about a killer The Fly reappereance? And Wild Horses?) love...
    I don't think they'll clean the dust of any pre-87 stuff that they hadn't played in a long time (well, maybe The Electric Co?), but some pre-87 love wouldn't be half bad either. The good ol' October-New Year's Day combo would be a killer, and Bad is a must-play. Apart from that, I really don't care about the song choices, as long as the running order and the performance is worth the ocassion!!

    PS. And please do NOT start with Beautiful Day
