  4. just have to say that earls court 92 is probably my second favourite version after dublin 93. i've not heard this version mentioned as one of the best before so either i'm in the minority or a lot of people haven't discovered it yet? for this leg of the tour its easily the best and i actually prefer it over milan

    also as a side note i also consider this show as having my favourite encore of possibly any U2 show ever as it contains my favourite ever versions of WOWY and love is blindness too!

    anyone who hasn't heard it should check it oot
  5. I heartfully agree with Ric. The London show on May 31st 92 is absolutely mindblowing, great versions of UV, LIB (best ever?), Pride, Angel Of Harlem... That show is a must-have, and I have to admit that it rarely gets into my list of best shows - although it absolutely deserves it. Give it a try: 1992-05-31 - London - Earl's Court Arena

  7. Ahaha I seriously think this is still THE highlight of the tour and it's kind of sad that it has to alternate with Batman (even though I love that song as well) but the encore would be x100000 times better if the

    encore was :
    Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me
    Ultraviolet (Light My Way)
    With or Without You
    Moment of Surrender

    it would doo soo much for the shows imo
  8. ^ good shout, i always wondered why they feel the need to switch it, i mean 4 songs for an encore isn't pushing the boat out to unfeasible lengths.

    the only reason i can think is so they don't get bored of either quite so fast.

    Absolutely. Not only for the sake of having these 2 absolutely great songs (UV and HMTM) each night, but also because HMTM into WOWY just doesn't work.

    Yeah that ONE time they did all 4 in one night was great but c'mon it's like having to pick between children or something. And Batman into WOWY is kinda odd >.< Although at times I like it for some reasons. U2 like these jarring rock songs going into ballads don't they?


  11. yeah! no two songs have ever worked less well together ever! when you consider the genius of lemon into WOWY and velvet dress into WOWY and UV into WOWY (during zootv and now) it seems a strange and sloppy decision to have HMTM go into WOWY
