Here is another one that I started work on last year but finally had time to finish just recently:

Our gift is our rebirth, tonight

Coming out from under the trees, the lovers loving
All the birds with their lovely chirping, doing the same love singing
Maybe your skin stops growing, we never really stop our moaning
Flowers bloom, rose tainted view, honey, all games were made for winning

Is there anywhere that I can go where you will also be?
Is there anywhere you want to go before we have to leave?

Hi Everyone,i've just released my first album as one half of Heathward an electronica duo it's available on itunes and most download sites,the cd took six months to make and we've been playing some festivals and gigs am really pleased with how it's going.
I know it's nothing like u2 but they are still one of my biggest influences and some of you might remember a few years ago i did a remix of All i want is you, which i shared here on u2start and got some good feedback from (many thanks).

Just wrote this up. I suppose a good title would be "Change Your Mind"

The months have passed and the days are rolling on
The feelings lasted and i'm still here all alone
It's not so bad, but it isn't getting better
and it makes me wonder how life'd be had I not met her
The days are long and the sky isn't as clear
I'd give up anything to have you with me here
But my mind says no even though my heart says yes
Every move I make is one I second guess

So will you think about it love, will you change your mind?
Because this isn't getting easier, I think about you all the time

And I need you and I want you and I feel so lost without you
And I could talk for days about the things I love about you
And I know that you don't feel the same I hope you'll understand

It's like a drug I can't give up
A scratch ticket just less the luck
and the next ones gonna be a winner
but my heart's wallets getting thinner
It fills my thoughts with worn cliches
Reminds me of our better days
The fun we had the things we said
it makes me need to clear my head

Hopefully i'll be able to get around to that eventually. A lot of the time I write lyrics but never wind up making the music for them. I'm gonna try and get that done with the rest of my summer though. And thanks man, means a lot.

I do the same a lot. Has been to long since I wrote a lyric now too though, but I think it might happen soon, since I have too much spare time at the moment.

Hey you never know when you'll get some inspiration. I was laying in bed trying to fall asleep and the chorus to "Change Your Mind" just kid of materialized. I immediately turned on my computer to write it down and the rest just kinda flowed.

That's usually how I come up with a song too, too late at night, feeling very tired. Then I just come up with something.

I can't wait to post my band's songs up on here! We're playing a show on August 10th, and the venue tapes your gig for a fee. Once we get that, I'll load the videos up on youtube and post them here! Can't wait to show you guys.
