    To Who It May Concern...

    I am writing to direct your attention to the new Apple iPod classic 80GB model. As of purchasing this recently, I have noticed the terrible sound that it produces, and hisses during songs loudly. This defeats the purpose of a great product, and I'd like to know when new firmware will be available or options to return it and recieve a replacement that doesn't carry these issues.

    I find this ridiculous for a new product and would like to ask why this is happening. Take a look at the Apple Forums (discussions.apple.com) and see the issues there. You will soon know why I, like many others, am annoyed with this. Please direct this to the highest person in charge of manufacturing/quality control and get them to test this as I don't believe they tested it before releasing it. I also believe this is the reason it sold for much cheaper than the previous model (5.5G) which doesn't carry these issues.
