    Good luck! But if you're gonna get a U2 iPod you better get it fast. When I got mine they said they were gonna discontinue them soon. I love mine! I definitely recommend it!

    Thanks!! I've heard the same... A friend of mine, recently went to the US and I asked her to find out the price and she told me that they were'nt selling them any more...
    but here in Argentina there are a few left, the issue is that they are way more expensive here becouse they are imported...

    Really? Check on the apple website. I know they still sell refurbished U2 iPods. Obviously they're not brand new, but if you can't find one that would be the next best thing. They also sell them on Amazon.

  7. I wonder if there is going to be a new U2 ipod in future?
    Now that the ipod classic is launched, maybe we can expect a U2 classic ipod (maybe after 1/2 year) or something like that, does anyone knows something else? I'm looking for buying the ipod classic but it doesn't look as good as my old U2 ipod one.

    And there's always eBay. But you must be careful there. I got ripped off on my iPod after paying $400 - and if I was really smart I would have checked with Apple and got it for $299 + a year warranty. But I got every single album so that was sort of a pay-off.


  10. ipod classic is a no go for concerts. Only the best soundboards and concerts are sounding good at the moment.

    What a piece of crap. Surely Apple does a little something called "Quality Control"?

    It's pretty bad when an older product, which Apple happens to no longer officially sell (kind of like chucking your old couch out on the street) is actually better.

    my 3 year old 4th Gen trounces it. Every day i'm finding a new glitch. Just found one now. When I sync my ipod to itunes my play counts or ratings don't update. Minor niggle yes but mighty annoying.
