1. Thanks for the mention again Tim!

Those 2 pics are really amazing, specially the first one! And they're even more amazing since Venus won't be in front of the sun again in a hundred years or more...
  2. Well, I see planes and I think of you now Just saw those tagged with 'Venus' on Flickr when I was browsing and thought you'd like to see them.
  3. Thanks once again, friend! It's a real pleasure to know that close people see planes and remember me...
  4. I totally forgot about this photo...I took it in Sydney during my visit to the Sydney Royal Bothanic Garden. I was browsing through my files and decided to upload the photo with some retro effects

    Reflection by Aidan Formigoni

My thoughts. I didn't realise it was a reflection either until I saw the title.
  8. Been out tonight to take a photo I've always wanted to, worked first time Not brilliant composition, just testing the water, I'll post it up tomorrow

  9. Thanks friend!

And I used my Canon editing program (I don't have photoshop) to edit the colours....it was blue and green and I turned them into purple and this "almost yellow"

    Also, thanks Sergio and Tim

Right, rather later than I promised, but here we go. For a long time now I've always wanted to go out and take a photograph of all three traffic lights lit up. So earlier this week I was heading out to the supermarket at 01:00 as you do and thought I'd take my camera for a quick shot, just to have a go at the technique more than anything. First shot, I got what I wanted

^As you can see, I got all three lights lit but the composition and actual image is very boring. Knowing the technique and the time of day to shoot, I can go out now and be a little more artistic with the shot and hopefully get something that is as unique and as striking as this image by Rob Macneice:
