1. What else could someone possibly need _O_ This is just the performance of One Tree Hill.

It is a decent recording, but it's definitely nowhere near U22 quality. Nothing is. And about Point Depot, I feel that the Vertigo Tour renditions and especially the 360 Tour renditions are far superior. The subtle effects Edge adds to his guitar are amazing and the solo he does for 360 is otherworldly. Combine that with the fact that the performances of One Tree Hill during the Vertigo and 360 Tour have a greater symbolic value makes it clear that the more recent versions of One Tree Hill totally blow Point Depot out of the water.

I'm also not a very big fan of the Lovetown tour in general because it's basically U2 being bitter and ignoring the US for flat out rejecting Rattle and Hum. I think the assessment of Rattle and Hum as presented in From The Sky Down is fairly accurate. The band was so full of themselves that when they released Rattle and Hum, the message they sent to the American people was "we're a band from Dublin Ireland and here's what your culture is."

LoveTown was about getting to places the band missed on the JT tour. Much like the last legs of Vertigo for missing some of the places on Pop and especially Elevation
  4. And your point is?
  5. I want to make a copy of U22 for in my car with the digital bonustrack "Unknown Caller". Setlist technically is the best place to add the song after "Bad" on cd1. Or am I wrong??
Or should I put after the last track on cd 2?

    Any thoughts or comments
  6. i would put it before The Unforgettable Fire
  7. Unless you're going to do a full mixing work (making the tracks merge into each other), "inserting" Unknown Caller between two tracks will destroy the live feel of the album, because the Unknown Caller version we have has got volume fades at the beggining and end.

If you're up to do it anyway, I think the ideal place is between All I Want Is You / Love Rescue Me and The Unforgettable Fire. Placing it after Stay as Alex says is equally valid (it happened like that on the 1st leg shows where Stay was played), but the transition between Unknown Caller and One Tree Hill will be more awkward than between AIWIY/LRM and Unknown Caller.
  8. I wonder if they'll still giving U22 to those who subscribe today. Seeing that prices, I'm tempted to buy 2 subscriptions and then sell one of the U22's....... scalper mode off

  9. That maybe ahn1991 isn't completely correct about it being a two fingers to America tour. North America had two massive legs on The Joshua Tree tour.
