Bono even manages to forget the lyrics to One while Bruce can remember every song haha.

That, and not anything else, is the most awesome thing about The Boss in my opinion. How can he be requested a song he hasn't played for 5, 10 or 30 years (or ever) and still he nails it. It's just mindblowing.

Thus making it even more pathetic that U2 can barely change a setlist from leg to leg. I know people will say things about choreography and things, but they could still use the same videos/visuals for different songs - i.e. Last Night on Earth, Discotheque, Gone all could have been interchangeable with HMTMKMKM in the encores or with something else in the set.

Maybe we're not getting a Wrecking Ball DVD/Bluray, and they're just going to give us 20-30 proshot clips on youtube of songs throughout the tour? Thoughts?

That would be pretty cool since they are now giving us some ''suprises'' and not a standard setlist. I would be up for it but a DVD would be nice too.

Absolutely. U2 are my life and I can't help adoring them for so many reasons - but their staticness in setlist, visuals, etc is so lame.
  5. I guess the next tour will show whether they can do it or not. They should be downsizing in terms of venue and stage size, which would ideally mean a return to an Elevation tour setup. Then they'd had no excuses, cause there wouldn't be much video to start with
  6. The video is just a fan-made excuse for justifying U2's lazyness when it comes to setlists.
  7. Indeed
  8. Just found this from Hanging Rock. What a photo (I think anyway):

Titled: 'The Big Man Who Wasn't There'

  9. My prayer has been answered (secret garden from leeds)...awesome
  10. Apparent tracklist of the new album according to BTX rumours. Guy who posted it had it nearly 100% right before Wrecking Ball was released:

    Dream Baby Dream
    High Hopes
    Harry's Place
    Heaven's Wall
    This is Your Sword
    Just Like Fire Would
    American Skin (41 Shots)
    Hunter of Invisible Game
    Frankie Fell in Love
    Down in the Hole
    The Ghost of Tom Joad
    The Wall
