1. After Everglow for me
  2. No Coldplay on Christmas please
  3. After listening to the album for a while I feel Everglow is by far the best song on the album and probably a top 15, maybe a top 10 song in Coldplay's entire discography.
  4. Coldplay to receive "Godlike Genius" award at the NME awards...........

Really? That award is almost a decade late. If there was a musical equivalent to the Razzies (the awards for worst big movies of the year) Coldplay should've won worst album at that award show.
  5. Coldwhat?

    ????

This confuses even me. If anything they should have gotten it for Ghost Stories, not AHFOD.
  7. But let's be real, I'd still pay money to watch them live.

    Yes I agree with that
  9. just scored a ticket for a German gig nearby on June 1st. First time I'll see them live. Should be good.
  10. I don't mind everglow but coldplay is boring honestly what have they really done?
  11. Made A Rush Of Blood which is imo one of the best albums of this last 15 years. Besides that they also made some other pretty good stuff, only they decided to take a different musical direction something like 8 years ag, which sucked if you ask me.
  12. I will still say that Ghost Stories is the best album they've released thus far. Most of their earlier albums have a lot of great classics, but they've also got "filler songs" that don't really contribute much to the albums.

I actually like that Coldplay has decided to take new musical directions since Viva. All of their albums prior to that sound exactly the same and as much as there are Oldplayers that would rather they keep that sound, there are also a lot of fans that felt Coldplay would have completely dropped out if they maintained the same path they had before. I will say that MX did a lot to put them on the map in a way that actually matters. If it weren't for that album, Coldplay's media exposure might be limited to reality game shows playing "Fix You" during their elimination rounds.
