  1. Haha, cool! We have news

    I like the song in the sense that I'm hearing something new and things are moving forward! I would bet on this being a remix of a full song on the album - perhaps they'll have it as a b-side kind of thing.

    Also find the line "The best thing that ever happened to BOY" interesting...not "a boy" or "this boy"...just "boy". Reference to the first album? Young Bono perhaps?

    I think its a cool one-off. And love that it means some risks are being taken artistically

    Maybe this is generous, but it sounds too good to be a "cool one-off".

    Still, I am loving what I am hearing, too.

    In all seriousness, you can be 100000% certain I have downloaded this and am going to be looping it for a while. It sounds to me like a remix of an upcoming song rather than the 'real' version but even if this is a real version....

    One thing I noticed is - in the video, people are already singing out YOU'RE THE BEST THING ABOUT ME! It's nice to hear a U2 song beside one of the 80s/Achtung Baby standards, BD, Elevation, or Vertigo that people are ALREADY singing out to, even if the song isn't even out yet! It makes me hopeful.

    This is, for now, The Best Thing. I strongly suspect this is a remix and not the 'real' version, but as of now this is all we've got.

    2017, U2 will be on the road again. 2017, Pop turns 20.

    20 August 2016, we have this new piece of U2 music.

    Is this the band's long-postponed returned to the Pop album? It might be far-fetched but... there might not be a better time than now to revisit it, and the band have indicated various times that they'd be interested in doing so...

    Even though Discothèque and Mofo have featured in some capacity on both 360 and i+e and the band still seem to have relatively high regards for them.

    And given the year in review... It might be time for Please and Wake Up Dead Man to return to the set.
