I can dream if I want to!
They definitely need to have the longer Streets intro without Bono talking.
  2. Oh wow Walk to the water ........... we need new dreams tonight ! That would just be so damn cool !
  3. Speaking of favourite live versions..
  4. About as likely as us both winning the lotto this weekend, but hey you never know!
  5. I'd like it to be bad with the 40 snippet going into Streets but then the rehearsals maybe suggest they're going for pride into Streets which wouldn't be that surprising really. Just to weigh in on the one tree hill debate I enjoy the newer versions from the vertigo tour and 360 equally to the point depot versions because although Bono is better in the 80's musically they are far superior nowadays perhaps due to a balance of technology and experience from playing for years. It was the same with the Unforgettable Fire which musically was much better on 360 than they've ever done it but Bono couldn't even attempt the tricky vocal parts.
  6. I liked it when he recited poetry on the Love Town tour but yeah I think for TJT it has to be a pure version of Streets with long organ intro, red lotus backdrop, pointy hats and cowboy boots or riot!

They had 10 years playing together in the Lovetown tour, they were not some rookies. You listen to Unforgettable Fire in 1990-01-06 and then compare it to a 360 show. It's a whole different ballpark.
But whatever, anyone can have their own favorite version. I still think the 80's shows are wildly underrated.
  9. I thought the periscope sounded decent, i was able to tell what key RHMT is played in. Gb or F#
