  1. I dont understand when you say it's a greatest hit tour when more than half the songs are not greatest hits....
  2. Let's not have a U2 versus Pearl Jam here...
  3. This is the Joshua Tree tour. They are playing The Joshua Tree, in full, every night, in sequence, and in superb fashion. People will always complain about the lack of setlist variety, but normal people don't attend 5+ shows each tour. Plus, I think people are forgetting the fact that U2 shows are traditionally very scripted, so the fact they are moving songs around so much and even moving the location some songs are performed is actually quite unique and interesting for the band. I've been busy lately, so I haven't been able to follow along with these shows, but I am curious to see how many shows have had deviations from printed setlists.
  4. It's a bit daft really coming on a u2 site stating pearl jam are better, I wouldn't go on a pearl jam site and state my belief that u2 are better, no harm done but your not exactly going to get a lot of people agreeing. Still a fan of pearl jam though just not to the extent of u2.
  5. Soz, just don't see the point coming on a U2 claiming another band are better, we all have our opinion's but I really don't see the motive behind claiming another band who has no context to the thread.

He's just saying they put more effort into switching up their setlists - something many of us are complaining about.

  9. Ummmmmm...... I'll be quiet. These are my top two bands but when it comes to live shows there's no comparing imo. And everyone here knows deep down they'd love if u2 played shows like PJ.
  10. The question is not u2 vs pearl jam/pj/Springsteen or whatever. But the fact that many u2 fans are disapointed that u2 is playing only 21-22 songs at the moment. The such an awsom catalog of more than 30 years. Cannot believe u2 replaces bad for asoh! Come guys play them f... Both, night after night!!
