Well plenty of people go to football matches in the same stadiums and most people are trying to get there for kick off time so it's the same deal really, if your suggesting there would be problems with everyone turning up when gates open then that would depend on whether people acted like adults or not. Also not everyone would turn up when gates open there would still be plenty arriving later than that. Why should people turning up later not try and get or the front? They're paying the same money for a ticket and have arrived at a suitable time to see the band, I don't agree with physically barging your way forward but if people are leaving gaps then they're there to be filled.

Agree I turned up at twickenham as Noel Gallagher was starting his set watched it from the back.At the interval most people go for a beer or toilet break and we just walked further forward we had a great spot good view not on the rail but close enough to see and enjoy the show. The problem with some countries I find they sell a lot more GA tickets or allow more in the GA. I noticed the difference on the IE tour in London lots of room but in Dublin it was horrible too packed and very uncomfortable

You don't understand that you are not the only one that is trying to get through the gaps... Therefore don't understand that places you try to gain are costing people in front their places.

FYI. People in the past have died during concerts because of that behaviour.
If you make closed parts you won't have these problems.

Yes but there is a still a large crowd heading to the same place at the same time, if people behave in a civil manner then it isn't an issue even for ga. Ido understand I'm not the only one trying to get through the gaps but if it's there and I can see it in front of me I'm going to fill it. If your saying that people in front have left to them come back and reclaim there spot then I'm sorry we can't all keep people's places. In fact something I did see at Twivkenham was people sitting in ga before u2 started which was taking up a needless amount of space. Again if we are not being forceful and simply filling gaps there will be no deaths as you have pointed out. I think deaths have been caused by people being over forceful in there quest for a good spot, something which I would never do, I have never threw my weight about or barged past people and never would.

As someone said earlier. If 2 people had to be taken away and brought to the hospital because of that kind of behaviour, is outrageous.
I am not concerned about myself. I am 6.3 feet, I'll menage. But you are fucking a lot of smaller people including children because of that behaviour.

I am sorry I have to say this, but I was really close to punch someone on his face yesterday because of his ridiculous behaviour.
And I never had that kind of feeling before.

I agree and it is a lot better H&S wise now in the 80's and 90's some concert were dreadfull no crowd control a free for all and people got hurt which isnt the objective of going to a gig its about making great memories and having a good time.

We still disagree, if your near the front of ga and are leaving big gaps then expect someone to fill them. If I am not forcing other people to move which I wasn't and there was still room for me to stand which there was I'am doing no harm to anyone. The problem comes when people are literally pushing through forcing others to move which means people against rails are losing space, I didn't take up people's space I simply filled the space that was there. If someone was trying to push me out the way, which I wouldn't allow, I would feel equally as angry, if I left space in front of me and someone took it I couldn't complain.
