1. I think the song sounds great, liked it at first and with the slightly longer clip with edges solo it’s just got better, no complaints from me, great tune.

    +1
I don’t see what’s with all the criticism until we hear proper album.
But I like the catchy choruses on the new songs.
  3. Listening to that video some more, I think Edge sounds great there. It definitely has an uplifting vibe. I can't wait to hear the whole song. This song works for me more than Best Thing.

  4. Obviously! They need something really interesting to pump the interest in SOE and I think wind noises are perfect for that
  5. So I see my old friends bashing this - but I like it Considering all the different sounds I've heard from this album, I think it presents a good mix of styles. And of course they choose this and the best thing as singles.

AND I was gonna point out a Nov 1st release based on the elements in the video too - I think we're getting a Halloween single for sure.

The guitar notes during the chorus are extremely familiar for me though - sounds like a non-U2 song on my spotify, but can't tell which one just yet. Will keep you updated
  6. Love it.
  7. I would say expect a release October 31... something to tie in with Dia de los Muertos

Also end of JT tour, time to push a small promo tour for album release

    IMHO

And now this, it's only 1 minute or something but it just doesn't sound fresh or anything, really like Cesar put it. Like they have been trying to play U22000 again or something.

I actually love The Best Thing, but otherwise agree. I should have been clearer earlier, I guess - the first three songs they've played to promote SOE I've really enjoyed, but you're right that Get Out of Your Own Way sounds too much like 2000, a little too similar to Beautiful Day. That's kinda bugging me right now. That solo at the end by Edge also reminds me of Walk On...

But it's still pretty catchy and it's just from a short clip clip we've heard, so I hope the full song ends up surprising us, obviously. Very curious, I must say, about Bono performing in his Shadow Man role...

I felt like it was a different hat?
  11. You can't say it's bad, but it's not good either... Very so so, like Best Things. Uninspired.

Happy Shadowman with all those colours and lights? Don't think it's Shadowman... just Bono in the hat
