1. We should make a list of reasons the boys have for not playing certain songs. Off the top of my head,

    Notes to high: ASOH,TUF,RHMT,Wire.
    Cant remember how: WILATW.
    Murder stigma: Exit.

List any more you can think of. Oviously there are songs they just dont play because they dont feel like going back that far. (probally the reason they dont play most of there first three albums).
  2. Acrobat is one of them, Zooropa was played once or twice (dunno if that counts)...
  3. Bono can't sing any of them is the main reason. He could manage Look At The World. No excuse for not playing Ultraviolet though.
  4. In U2 by U2 The Edge said its hard to get the guitar sound for Ultraviolet.

he managed for ZooTV. I'm sure it's saved in that big huge electronic box thing of his.
  6. I wonder what guys like us would give for an hour in The Edges pedal room?
  7. They did play UltraViolet throughout the ZooTV tour I seem to recall...
  8. Yeah but evidently he thought it was to much trouble.
  9. Hm, a show lasts about 2 hours, so you can only play a certain number of songs.
They have to play the usual stuff for the majority of the audience, then add a certain amount of new material.
Doesn't leave much room for 'rare' stuff. Also, with all the activities outside of the band there isn't much time for rehearsals plus the the fact that the band just likes other songs better.

And you also must reserve 15 minutes for Bono's yadda yadda.

he only needs to find the sound once and he can programme it to a certain pedal and there it shall remain forever
  11. To bad we dont have his email. That would be fun.

If you could ask him one question, what would it be?
I would ask him which era he likes the most
