I don't understand why they're rehearsing SBS, let alone the same version back in 2015. This is a song that can take a rest this year. It was the opener in Joshua Tree Tour 2017 & in my opinion the ie2015 version wasn't that good.
They should start rehearsing some POP songs...
btw, it seems like the "usual suspects" have all reappeared: BD, elevation (influx remix is cool though), Pride, SBS, COBL.
I also don't like the idea of Iris & SFS. I feel like those two belong in the 2015 tour.

It is a fantastic song; it totally rocks. Remember, it was intended to be the album opener until the very end. It is that good.

How about playing it live? Together with Please, Please? Just a thought

but the 2015ie version fitted to the dramatics of the show in the way it was. imo
  5. No Iris/SFS/EBW please, there are much better/more interesting songs on SOI... and also remove SBS ;/
  6. I agree with this. From these 3, only EBW would be worth including... and ONLY FULL BAND.
  7. Looks like I’m the only one excited at hearing plenty of SOI on the tour. Until we realise they’ve taken one of acrobats spots then I’ll be right there with you all. I’m looking forward to the next time they do a run through a Setlist, I’ve got my fingers crossed they’re adding things in and moving things around and not taking anything out.
  8. I would be fine with SOI but not at the expense of Summer of Love and Red Flag Day which are a little more better for the times we’re living in.

I'm all for having plenty of SOI in the setlist...

...but it has to be from the good part of SOI! Iris, Song For Someone, The Miracle, Volcano and piano-Every Breaking Wave are the weakest songs from SOI, and ironically 4 of the most bound to be played *facepalm*

On the other hand I'd love if they kept Cedarwood Road and Raised By Wolves among this tour's regulars, and of course I'd rave if they actually dug a bit deeper and brought The Troubles (incredibly experienced so it definitely fits!), The Crystal Ballroom, Sleep Like A Baby and Reach Me Now. How could I not!
  10. I also wants to hear plenty of SOI. Happy for now with Cedarwood road and Raised by Wolves. But some rotating with Iris, The Troubles, The Crystal ballroom, Sleep Like a baby, EBW full band and Reach me now, would be very welcome.
  11. Would love for some SOI on this tour. Iris, Miracle, Cedarwood road, the troubles, EBW, Sleep like a baby tonight, California and SFS. This tour is the eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour so give us some experience AND innocence!
  12. I rate all of SOI pretty highly, I guess the weakest for me are the miracle, volcano and sleep like a baby but even they three I’d say are good songs. I’d rate maybe the troubles and California as the best and would love to hear them but I can understand why the band would give them a miss given bono struggling vocally with the troubles and California not quite living up to the album standard, although I think it was closer at Dreamforce. I think the rest of the album I can’t really seperate so I guess reach me now would be first pick since it’s not been done before but I’m really happy about the ones that are being considered, I would agree about EBW piano being weaker than full band though. I should also add I agree with Kris_smith87 above that i’d prefer red Flag Day and summer of love, I don’t think there’s much in it in terms of song quality but we’ve not heard these two live so that prioritises them.
