  1. Right! Especially if they aren't going to play Acrobat, Wild Horses, The Fly which they previously rehearsed. This damn show is already starting to feel so stale. Where is Discotheque or Gone? And why can't they play the BEST songs off SOE like Red Flag Day and The Little Things That Give You Away? How long before The Blackout is dropped? And we don't need to hear the entire sequence, 5 tunes,from the I and E again. It was already done! I don't want to be a pessimist but come on already! They don't have much time in the grand scheme to lock whatever songs they are going to play down.
  2. every U2 song have a other song that can perfectly replace it without losing quality, substitute WTSHNN for Bad, All I Want Is You or whatever other great song, is perfectly acceptable

    How is the set list stale? This was literally the first time they’ve played through it. If they planned on playing this exact set every night, they would have scrapped Acrobat/Horses/The Fly back in France in their closed rehearsals
  6. Just my two cents, and I know it's still rehearsal time and the tour hasn't started yet. I've said a few times, IMHO they shouldn't play any songs from SOI- that was I+E...if for no other reason than the theme those shows followed..to keep them in is safe and, I think, kind of lazy. IF that's the case. I'd laugh my ass off if they kept them in and used the same visuals

  8. Again, give it time, they're probably still mucking around with the setlist. Although if they're playing on SBS-RBW-UTEOTW in a row again, then they must be having a laugh.
  9. If Wild Horses or Acrobat don’t appear in the next run through then they have been ditched. Love SOI and IE but just not sure we need the same sequence again.
  10. That’s good the band have rehearsed acrobat and wild horses so well that they didn’t feel the need to play them last night, right? Yeah I’m trying to remain optimistic lol. On a serious note though there is still time and enough places left in the Setlist you’d feel to add them in so fingers crossed.
  11. From what I've seen from the rehearsals I'm REALLY glad I'm keeping the $250 in my pocket and skipping this tour.

    I knew this would be reminiscent of the I&E tour but ouch - this is a really uninteresting setlist to me. Especially if the only Pop bone they throw is an acoustic Staring at the Sun.

  12. Oh yeah we play longer Setlist and play Songs we never played before...... Every time the same shit they tell us...the last 30 years every time the same...blalblabla and in the end....there is nothing left from what they promised....same procedure as every year.....
