Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75
  1. Some people are paying hundreds of pounds for tickets. If the band are really playing Iris/CRoad/SFS/RBW/UTEOTW fans would have been better going out any buying the i&e DVD and save their hard earned cash as Bono likes to call it.

They are choosing the wrong songs from SOI, some of the wrong songs from SOE and keeping the wrong staples (who seriously keeps Elevation over Streets!). It does not bode well.

    Good old U2, I think.
    It's frustrating...

Although I loved this sequence of songs in I+E there is no need to see it again. I agree they should at least make some afford to combine I+E and E+I e.g. SFS and 13 if they are gonna play numbers from SOI.
  4. SFS and 13 shouldn't be on the same setlist
  5. there´s no Experience in their upcoming tour if songs from Zooropa and Pop are missing.

Take away the lights, screens, walkways, setpieces etc and they would be completely lost just playing a straight forward show from one end of the arena. They are neither good enough musicians to rehearse and nail exceptional numbers of songs and the screens are so much part of the show that they can't suddenly wander off down the road of say i threw a brick/a day without me because it will throw the whole circus act out. Nor are they interested in rehearsing such numbers of songs - well one of them isn't he's more interested in getting on a plane to texas apparently.

Give it a rest will you don't go if you don't like it I'm sure your not anyway, the band knows what works and what doesn't that's why they are the biggest touring band in history.

If the entire sequence of Iris ... End of the world will be in the standard set again, I will sell my tix for a number of shows..
    We've seen that in 2015
  8. Not good.

Hahaha, incredible yet painfully accurate theory. I know of a good few people who bought extra tickets for some US and Euro shows based on the 3 first days of rehearsals.
  10. So far, I'ts not going that well, but I'll try and stay optimistic. 2 weeks is enough time for them to almost perfect yesterday's setlist. In the first days, they rehearsed Acrobat multiple times & they also tried The Fly, WGRYWH & HMTMKMKM. Then, they returned to a "safer"-ieTour2015 setlist sequence. The AB songs can easily fit yesterday's setlist to make a larger -as promised- setlist. If, the different setlists (first one including Acrobat & second one including the same ieTour2015 sequence with SBS & RBW) are night 1 & night 2 setlists, then night 2 fans will be pissed & I hope U2 realise that this is a bad move.
Of course, there's another theory, maybe they couldn't nail the Achtung Baby songs, so they bring back the ietour2015 sequence, because they have no more time to "get it right".
