Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75
  1. Wow. That’s even rough for me.
  2. That's too far man. We can criticize the band, but that is a low attack on Bono's personal life.
  3. I didn't mean it to come out harsh. Maybe it was so more than I expected.
  4. I will just throw this out there. It seems like God Part II would fit this tour, don't believe, but believe in love theme. I don't know, maybe its because it is the only song on my bucket list that I have not heard them perform live. It was such a kick ass song live. It really is a pity they have not done it after Lovetown.

Yeah... I wouldn't say no to some of that! We can but hope, it is R&H's 30th anniversary afterall, and what with them playing 'Acrobat' you never really know? Not holding my breath though haha.

One of my favorite songs, but I definitely wouldn't get my hopes high:

I think it's too much on the innocence/naive side to fit on the experience show.

Also, it's a "strong" song, in the SBS, Bullet, Exit, Acrobat and Wolves line, and those songs lately are at the core of a whole suite, with a build-up before and a cool-down after, and with Bono getting totally involved emotionally on them... and I don't see them creating another suite around that one.

But... who knows, I never would've expected Acrobat, and then Tulsa came, so... maybe.

There is no way he can reach those high notes.
  8. He never could hit the notes on Red Hill Mining Town not even in 87 and they still played it. I still enjoyed it. He would have to sing it differently.

I know it is not going to get played. I do know that it is Edge's guitar tech Dallas's favorite U2 song and he apparantly suggests it every new tour in rehearsal. So, not happening this tour but maybe someday.
  9. One moment I loved in San Jose 2:

    The Landlady snippet.

It fits perfectly in that moment, right after Acrobat, while Bono removes his make up.

I think it fits so perfectly that I thought it deserved a something more than a post, so I made a comic strip... hope you like it:
  10. Great work!
  11. Great sketching. You should do more
