I agree. Tulsa was the best as he actually sang the songs lyrics. Now, it's just the music with Bono talking. He says nice words but it's not the songs lyrics.
  2. Tulsa was the only show where he sang.
It's incredibly frustrating, he doesn't even bother with such a short song.

The segue is still amazing though

I think October would be a better intro for Iris
  4. Just seen a stat, after 5 concerts, E+I tour already has nearly more different songs performned than during the entire Joshua Tree Tour last year. We've had 30 different songs so far, Joshua Tree had 31.
  5. About The Ocean, this phrase helped me to actually enjoy the moment:

"You can't watch videos while you're working, but you can work while you watch videos"

(sorry if it doesn't make too much sense, I know that my mind works weirdly)

    My point is:

Bono always makes a speech before Iris. There's always a Bono speech.

So, don't think of it as "Bono is ruining The Ocean with his speech", but rather look at it as "mmh... Bono's speech sounds better with an instrumental version of The Ocean playing on the background"

That's what I've been doing now that I'm playing San Jose 2 on repeat, and I think it actually works pretty nice. Is not The Ocean, is just the instrumental version of it on the background of his speech.
  6. I prefer bono speaking without instrumental than The Ocean having this version without power.

    Wow, can't believe this stat!

A more fair comparison would be with the I+E tour. There were 48 songs performed in the American leg of the I+E tour. I don't think we'll be even close to that this tour.

    kinda sad honestly
  10. It is a shame but can’t really be too surprised the set list seems pretty set. Wouldn’t surprise me if we got the same setlist as the last two concerts tonight
  11. It has to be said though that 2015 had quite a few 4 nighters, and even one 8 nighter. This leg has no more than two shows per city.
  12. Compare a entire american leg with 4 shows is unfair too
