People still have every right to bring it up if they want and a lot of people might not have had there say already but I personally did have my say on both the issue of rotation and dropping a song and I’m finished with complaining now, and I’m going to enjoy listening in tonight and tomorrow regardless, I might talk about the bands performance which I think is the most important aspect of the show. One thing I will say and it’s not a criticism just an observation, the complaints will likely be more frequent this tour because with exception of TJT17 tour it is looking like the least amount of rotation for quite some time, in particular for 2 show cities where they changed up around 4 or 5 songs from night 1 to night 2 for I&E.
I am gonna enjoy the show. No doubt about it. It is U2. I just expect more from them... That is all...

Although, I missed i/e, so all SOI/SOE is basically new stuff to me...
I’m looking forward to they 2 songs as well. Gloria was great in Glasgow 2015 and in fact always does seem to be great. Acrobat will be one if the highlights for me alongside love is bigger and Lights Of Home, but I’m excited about a lot of the Setlist.

Yeah for anyone who missed I&E that’s 11 or 12 songs you haven’t heard right away between SOI and SOE add to that acrobat so there’s plenty to look forward to.

True. But talking about the performance is for people who are big fans, is it not?

It would be nice of they play ‘Fire’ or ‘ With a Shout’ in stead of Gloria.... Even better. ‘Celebration’ ....
  5. Well yes and no. If the band have a particularly off night I think even the casual fans can tell and be out off by it. In fact the band are really relying on having a great performance to get the casual fans into it.

So, as a big fan, you would prefer a perfect perfomance with the same old songs over a surprising setlist?

Sure. That being said, I'll take my all-time favorite I Threw A Brick/Day Without Me combo... but I know that ship has sailed some time ago, and the only way I'm gonna get my dream set is maybe if I'm Warren Buffett, and I rented the Century Link Center for a private party and sent them my setlist request a year ago!

A Celebration That was Edge's response when it was brought up to him. While i would think it was cool, 90% of the crowd would be what the hell is this! Some big fans might not even know it. A standalone single from 1982 and/or a bonus track on a box set off October (U2's worst album unless you count Passengers ) is not making the setlist.
  9. what do you mean by "same old songs"?
If we're talking about 9-10 new songs, 13 songs of the last 2 albums, yes, 10/10 I take that.

Also nice... I would take that over Gloria every day. And having said, the casual fans won’t notice the difference anyway....

Threw a Brick / Day Without Me would fit nicely with the tour's theme, with all the self reflection and being death and all...
