If we're talking about 9-10 new songs, 13 songs of the last 2 albums, yes, 10/10 I take that.
The same old songs they have been playing for the last 15 years during each tour...
  2. It depends on the performance of the surprising songs. If they butchered some rarities then I’d rather they didn’t play them but I can live with slight mistakes if they aren’t blatantly obvious and ruin the song. There was a version of wild horses from LA in 2005 and it was terrible, I’d take a perfect performance of pride again over that. Bono got the lyrics wrong for the first chorus of acrobat in St. Louis but it was a level of mistake I can just about live with so I’d take that over a perfect performance of pride but it was off putting.

A standalone single from 1982 and/or a bonus track on a box set off October (U2's worst album unless you count Passengers ) is not making the setlist.
    U2's worst album

    *IYHO....

Although... if they were to play that, I might get arrested for indecent exposure and performing a lewd act with myself in a public gathering...

They played Wild Horses in Amsterdam. It was amazing... Just because it surprised me...
  6. I thought we were talking about this tour... More than half of the show didn't even existed 15 years ago, half of it 4 years ago.

    I take it for sure.

As I mentioned, since I missed i/e tour, nearly 1/2 this show will be new to me!

True. And that is great. If you ask me.
And dropping all the JT songs, fine by me. But then drop all the songs from the last JT tour...
  9. Then you are gonna like this show.
Where are you going to watch them?
  10. Surprise isn’t enough for me, they have to play the song to at least a decent standard which I have to say in my personal u2 gig experience they have generally done.
