Haha, unfortunately I don’t have a video of that! But as soon as it started it was all goosebumps and me screaming, and tons of confused people around me in the GA area haha. I just grabbed my friend (also a massive fan) and said “NO!” - couldn’t believe it. Still can’t. Not to mention they performed it beautifully. In that moment I realized why it’s such an important song in the U2 canon, whereas I’ve always been one of the people saying “yeah it’s great but so what”. How wrong I’ve been.
And no, I realized it was a brain on the screen and that it was something LIKE that, but no, what was the significance? Something to do with Bono’s near-death experience? It was really eerie and really set the tone for the first three songs, that’s for sure.
I’ll add to my intial comment a bit and say I was sad not to hear more Experience songs, especially Little Things. And while I understand why they didn’t play any JT songs, a U2 show without Streets? Hmmmm... there’s probably like 10 other warhorses in the show still that I would remove before I removed that song.

One of the only parts that’s gets the crowd going. You can’t replace those songs. Believe me I’d love too but there’s not a lot of hits and high energy songs.

Oh I know it won't happen, but i just keep dreaming of hearing Mofo kick in after the intermission video.
