Regarding "I Will Follow" Bono has said that it's the "best version ever..." So not likely to rotate. If anything on that spot, they start rotating RFD.
SBS is a huge crowd pleaser and firmly placed in the "innocence" narrative. You may Pop-dream all you want, but no way "Please" will replace SBS - and neither will those obscure Pop-songs ever return to the set, and you know it
SBS is crowd pleaser in regular version... this stripped down is like lullaby...
I was just giving examples, don´t keen on those Pop songs, just came to my mind as first...

Sure. But the encore won't be extended. They already dropped that extra song right after Tulsa.

As a hardcore fan, I do regret that enormously: that would be the perfect place to please (no pun!) fans like us. Rotate WGRYWH with stuff like TUF, AIWIY and so on. But somehow they rejected that idea...
they seem to please just casuals who go only one show per tour... Hardcores have Acrobat they wanted, so shut up... that's how they (Larry?) probably think.

But even casuals who go one show have the same songs three tours in a row.
  4. 2015: I can't believe there's only 2 rotational songs. I miss the setlist variation of the 360 tour.
2017: I can't believe there's only 1 rotational song. I miss the setlist variation of the I+E tour.
2018:It's 9:17 and 35 seconds, time for Bono to go behind Larry.
  5. really? all the same songs three tours in a row? 6-7 same songs yes, but casuals want those hits

  7. Casuals want hits, indeed.

Many people will be disappointed that there’s no JT songs.

btw. had 5 changes between my two shows in 2015 and 2 changes between my two JT17 shows (and none change between my two e+i shows... but it were NA shows and Europe has "different" setlist so some changes are expected )
  9. true... at least we could be happy this is not greatest hits tour
  10. In think the lesson might be that from now on if you want rotation you’re going to have to go to shows on different legs of the tour. Anyone who attended Tulsa and is going to a European show will have had a pretty good number of songs. Or more likely anyone who attended a US show that didn’t feature RFD and attends a European show will still have had plenty of rotation. For those of us going to 2 shows in the same city maybe not worth getting our hopes up.
  11. I can handle little to no rotation if the setlist is good but them repeating the innocence storyline is just lazy.
