Experience and Innocence tour
Legs (3): Promo tour, Leg 1: North America, Leg 2: Europe
Shows: 75
  1. From the rehearsed stuff I would guess Desire especially in its suitably titled Hollywood mix, the glitzy and glamorous world that it is, two words that feel just as cringey to type out as speak it turns out lol.

    13 - Volcano / Glastonbury (snippet)

  3. 14. Glastonbury / Volcano (snippet) / American Soul (snippet)

The chorus would be like this

"You are a bucket full of sunshine
You and I are Rock n Roll
Came here looking for American Soul"

And i know its all about conversation but some people just make me shake my head....
Really? I think the disappointment is more that’s it’s the same exact sequence from the last tour. Plus there are other great songs on SOI to pull out to keep things fresh.
  5. All I want from this tour is for it not to be a continuation of 2015. It’s three years later. Give us something different. I refuse to judge anything prior to open night but I’m not enthused just yet.
  6. Songs that were not played on Innocence / not from the new album: 3

    Pathetic
  7. It was only 2 on the opening night of I&E from 360 and that was sweetest thing and bullet.
  8. I think it was only 2 for 360 from vertigo as well though better songs right enough in unforgettable fire and ultraviolet. It’s maybe better looking at what songs were regulars instead to get a better representation though as they do a few one offs.
  9. Out of Control was only played 6 times on 360
Desire was only played 10 times on the 360 tour total, and only twice on the final leg
    Bullet
    Sweetest Thing
Miracle Drug was on the printed setlist and then played the next night

Not to mention songs were in different positions, different arrangements, etc. This setlist literally has an exact run from the last indoor tour. WTF?
  10. Also, I think it's worth bringing this stats up, I made them myself some time ago:

% of staple songs per tour
(staples = songs that are performed mostly every night at the same or equivalent position of the setlist)

    TJT30: 82%
    I&E: 79%
    Popmart: 78%
    360: 48%
    Elevation: 48%
    Vertigo: 42%
    Zoo TV: 53%

    Again not really true, with

    Angel of Harlem
    In a Little While
    Unforgettable Fire
    MLK
    Walk On
    Ultraviolet

I know the numbers aren't extremely higher - but c'mon. There seems like no imagination in the set they just rehearsed.
