As the Touch is a bit overpriced for 16GB or 8GB, I don't think I'll be rushing out for it. What's the hissing problem, by the way? You need to prove to Apple if it is a widespread problem, to have more than 120 people with the same issues and can prove that it is widespread. Absolutely ridiculous for the price.

If you are looking for an ipod right away then i'd definatley recomend the U2 version. It is technically the 'old' model now that the 'Classic' has been released but the older one out performs the classic in every single area. So unless you fancy waiting for an upgraded and improved Classic do not hesitate in getting the U2 one.
