    I totally agree though. I don't like the subject matter being talked about here any more than you do. I come on here to check if there's news when this topic is active also but all I find is people talking about the end of U2.
  3. Just post a new topic call it New Album: News Only , and rename this one to New Album & The Future of U2, or something like that.

    EDIT: BTW Gerard, you're right about the stuff you said in the 'pets' topic, the place is getting very un-U2y...I find less interesting topics each day, which is the reason for me posting so little these days...(no offense to anyone of course, and I love you mark! )

  5. it has, there is nothing wrong with the conversations (even though some of it would fit very well in GC), the problem is that I check this topic for actual news when I see it on the actives, and there is so much unrelated stuff, I have to check a few pages back and forth to make sure I'm not missing on anything...I'm not lazy, it's just that I'm very busy these days, an "Actual News" topic would come in very handy!

    Yeah, I agree. I'll probably close this one and open a new one for discussions that are actually relevant to the new album.

OK, this one has been re-named to "Discussion of U2's future: new album, new tour, etc." This will now be the central thread for all discussions on how long the boys will stay in the business, etc. We'll soon be opening a new thread for news on the new album only. Please try to keep your posts relevant to the subject and not off-topic. That's why this thread has been re-named in the first place.

    Well, it worked perfectly with 10 or 15 poeple discussing about Coldplay. Here will there be 200+ people discussing about U2 and whoever doesn't connect in a few days (even hours) will get lost...
