  9. Vertigo Tour - May 10, 2005 (Bono's birthday!) Chicago, IL United Center

It was my 1st and only U2 concert. Let me tell you -- it was AWESOME!! It was the concert they filmed the DVD for so they played Vertigo twice (2nd time was an encore for the DVD). I loved it and wish I could be there again. Every time I watch it or hear U2 on the radio, I wish I could relive being there again! We all sang Happy Birthday to Bono.......it was great! Won't be my last concert--provided I could get tickets!! Although, they didn't play With or Without You or Bad -- those would have been great to hear! I love WOWY!! Streets Have No Name was just fantastic. If you don't have the DVD, I highly recommend it! Our seats weren't the best, 3rd level off to side--but it was just awesome being there and we were able to see. Would have loved to be in the front row!!!

Loved it, loved it, loved it!!!! Can't wait for the next one!!!

  11. 6 shows...

1992-03-09 - Uniondale, New York - Nassau Coliseum (ZOO TV)
--I was 5 years old (I've been obsessed with them that long) and an incredibly kind friend of the family scored tickets for me and my Mom.
--I vividly remember the transition from Bad / All I Want Is You / Bullet The Blue Sky, but not much else.
--Didn't know what an encore was so we left after the 1st set!

1997-06-03 - East Rutherford, New Jersey - Giants Stadium (PopMart)
--I was 10 years old. Close Uncle (also fan) took me.
--I remember the exciting energy of Pop Muzik / Mofo.
--I remember "Still Haven't Found"... Bono speaks "We decided that we were gonna eat the monster" to huge applause
--I remember Edge singing "New York New York"

2001-06-17 - New York, New York - Madison Square Garden (Elevation)
--Tix originally sold out too fast, but my bro's EX-girlfriend had 2 tix and remembered what a big fan I was, so she offered to sell them to me!
--14 now, went with my uncle. I remember the awesome opening, and went nuts when the lights went out in Elevation.
--Bad / 40 / Where The Streets Have No Name was a memorable 12 minutes.
--Streets Intro: Bono screams as the drums kick in, and when the lights went on, I looked around and watched the whole arena going ballistic, the image has never left me.

2004-11-22 - New York, New York - Empire Fulton Ferry State Park
--Ahhh Brooklyn Bridge!!!! SOO lucky to be at this show. I heard about it the day of and was home from university on Thanksgiving break.
--18 now, went alone but met some friends.
--I stood roughly 100 feet from the stage, closest I've ever been.
--Bono introduces "Original of the Species" and people applaud. Bono goes, "How do you know this shit? Edge, I think I know who stole the CD."
--INSANE 3 songs: Beautiful Day - I Will Follow - [Encore Break] - Out Of Control

2005-05-18 - East Rutherford, New Jersey - Continental Airlines Arena (Vertigo)
--Went with my uncle. I had been following setlists religiously, so I could sing every song word for word.
--Bono brings up a cover band called "the Bankrobbers," who play "I Still Haven't Found" during the encore. Great job.
--I was SO EXCITED to hear Bad close the show!

2005-11-22 - New York, New York - Madison Square Garden (Vertigo)
--I paid $200+ for scalped seats, the WORST in the house, but got an okay seat upgrade due to a connection.
--After "Streets" I noticed how deafeningly LOUD the arena was. Bono said, "the sound of a 747 taking off from MSG"
--Pleasant surprise: The ZOO TV encore graphic finished, and I expected Zoo Station but instead heard the wailing sound that kicks off Until The End of the World. What an awesome live song
--Overall good show, but I made the mistake of going alone, so it wasn't the same experience.
  12. tampa florida november 16th /2005... best night of my life, seriously.
