As a Christian myself, I hope that never happens.
  2. I just don't see any justification that there's a god. Being brought up in such a fucked up world there seems very little evidence of a God.

And i think it's perfectly ok not to believe in God. You don't need Religion to live a fruitful happy life. I don't need to abide by the 10 commandments because I have morals. I know that stealing and killing are wrong. I know it's wrong to be a racist etc because I respect other people and the world I live in. I don't believe in an afterlife, I think that as soon as our body shuts down, that's it. There's no soul ascension or whatever. No heaven or hell. We just die and slowly decompose until there's nothing left but our skeleton. It may sound dark and depressing but that's just what i think. I believe in the big bang theory and the theory of evolution. Certainly don't believe in creation. I mean it does seem pretty pointless creating other planets other than Earth. Why create Mars or the moon. Waste of time. And where is God? He only exists in our minds, there is no physical entity. And non-physical entities can't create physical entities.

I'm sorry but if I was as rich and famous and made as good as music as they did... I would be praising God non stop.

ask a doctor I reckon. A nerve twitch for someone with paralysis is all it takes to regain movement. Look at our Jeremy even. He was as good as paralyzed. Did the consultants and rehabilitation get him back on his feet or was it god? (I think it was U2start myself to be honest)

Hahahahahahaha! Sorry I didn't respond earlier, Gerard....TJust got around to reading it. his was classic!

And I think they are. They just choose not to do it in the way you mentioned. Keep in mind, everyone thanks God when they win a Grammy.

Faith is no science, faith can't be proven, it wouldn't be faith anymore. There is a story of a man going to a barber. The barber doesn't believe, the man does. The conversation had a religious topic and the barber says he doesn't believe, that he has never seen God etc. The man let's him talk and goes away when the barber is done. When outside, he sees a woman with filty and dirty long hair. He goes back to the barber and says: 'I don't believe in barbers!'.
The barber replies: 'Why not, you just got a haircut!?'. The man says: 'How is it possible that I see a woman walking outside with long and dirty hair?'. The barber says: 'That's her way of life, if she decides not to visit the barber. She knows I'm here'.

The man finally says: 'It's the same with God'.

Don't forget that there is a lot of (non-biblical) evidence for a big flood. Read this: http://www.icr.org/article/570/

I might like some fanatic when I post all this stuff here, but I just wanna answer questions I can answer and express my faith. To each their own mates.

I'm a Christian too, so I might be a little biased, but I think you're doing an amazing job at answering the questions presented to you from your own beliefs. Personally, I think that takes a lot of guts to do....as does asking the questions that others are. Keep it up!

  11. The most important hing in life is to love God and do his will. I believe in God and strongly believe that all I do is justified because I do it for God. I am not worried what people think of this as I know God will grant me reward and will keep me right.
