Don't worry, we will understand you

This thread is a "game" where an user chooses a bootleg and some other users download it, listen to it and then post their reviews about that show

If you want a "Best Bootleg" thread go here or here...

Regarding all that remixes, most of them are official so they can't be requested NOR shared. Anyway try your luck on http://u2-thespiralstaircase.blogspot.com/, there's always interesting material over there

    WOULDN'T WANNA BE ANYWHERE ELSE

    Performance

Another good show with some stand outs. It seems that 'Elevation' always seems to be great, no matter the show. 'Beautiful Day' and 'Until the End of the World' seemed above average. 'New Year's Day' benefitted from Bono's shrill at the start, always a sign of a great version. 'Out of Control' was just ok, and Bono's speech wasn't all too special. 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' was another average performance, as was 'Stuck in a Moment'. 'Kite' was dedicated to Ali's dad, who was in attendance that night. 'Angel of Harlem' was pretty good. 'Knockin On Heaven's Door' was a treat. 'Staring' showed the band had improved through time this show. 'Please' was amazing. It's sounded so raw and so cool here. The lead into 'Streets' gave me chills, and the band pull off a rocking version once again. 'Still Haven't Found' was great, coming off an amazing 'Streets'. 'Pride' was good, but what surprised me was they played MLK's speech during the middle a la Zoo TV
style. Edge's guitar tears open the night sky with a vengance during 'Bullet', the band still on fire since 'Please'. 'What's Going On' was average here, 'New York' too. 'One' and 'Walk On' close a really nice show.

    Sound

3 stars tops. The sound is ok, but nothing spectacular here.

    Audience

Your average audience from the tour, loud, excited, and great at every moment. It seems crowds love 'Still Haven't Found' and enjoy singing along.

    Overall

Average and somewhat forgettable show. Higlights include 'Knockin', 'Please', 'Streets', and 'Pride'. There are better shows out there though, but this is a fun listen.

  4. Steve's review pretty much sums up my feelings towards this boot, but I'll post my own soon enough. Setlist really screws it for me unfortunately. Abysmal. On a brigter note, some decent renditions of a few classics.

EDIT: I gotta disagree with Steve's comment on Out Of Control. The middle speech was a show highlight for me.

yeah, the reason I first downloaded it was because of the Please/Streets segue, they should have kept it PopMart style. Kinda like the change though, even if the Bad/40/Streets was one of the most epic things on the tour.

  6. Again, I'll probably have a listen + review up TONIGHT hahahaha
(Forget it yesterday, shame on me )

I'm no fan of Please but that was interesting at least.

  8. So you've reposted to say that you're still going to post?
