1. +4.

Apart from watching a sunset from a balcony, there's nothing better than a bit of rock at 4am in the morning. Either that or Passengers.

  2. How old are you?

Also I really think they should release something soon, even if it is a semi-live album like Rattle And Hum. They should really capitalize on the great performances from this tour.

I like the way you think, Drew.

    19

Younger than a lot of people around here, but older than some too. I'm used to being the oldest around because the neighborhood I live in is mainly kids my brother/sister's ages (obviously younger than I am), so it's just sort of wired into me I guess that I'm not what a lot of people (around where I live) see as a "kid" anymore.
  5. I wonder who is the youngest here actually.. Off topic though lol

  6. Wonder if there's a way crew could sort users by listed birthdays? (completely OT, yes, perhaps we should move to General?)
  7. Done

I feel really excited for this album, an album that would be the first that's released while I'm a
fan. Will be exciting to experience a U2 release And hopefully not experience too much waiting...
  9. Haha, very off topic but me like

I guess I'm considered VERY old around here. I was 17 when I fell for U2........

......but that was back in 1983 when I heard New Year's Day on the radio. It had just been released as a single.

No Line On The Horizon was the first release that I went out and bought myself on the first day. It was so exciting. I became a huge fan in 2000 but picked up All That You Can't Leave Behind the summer Elevation was released. I got The Best of 1990-2000, How To Dismantle An Atomic Bomb and U218 Singles for Christmas in the years they were released so it felt great for me to get up and go to the record store and pick it up on the first day. They opened early that morning so I got up and went there to get it.

  11. I can just see myself in retirement sitting back playing Passengers back to front at 4am in the morning.

Experiencing a new release event by any band is awesome. When the new Meat Loaf record came out last year I was there 9am getting it. That was fun.

They did put out Wide Awake but then again who outside of Europe and America could have gotten a hold of it? Although a R&H-style album as you say with a few new songs and some of the better 'unreleased' live performances (minus Crazy from Croke) would go down well. Hardly any recording involved...just release as is.
