    Putting the location of the performance in my mind makes up for them taking the footage from different nights.

    And I swear I've watched that Charlie Brown video at least 15 times since I found it. This video is probably THE BEST footage of the song I've ever seen. Better than both music videos by far. It perfectly encompasses the feel of the song and even the statement they made in the trailer about the MX Tour representing them throwing down the shackles and living life freely. That's the mental image I get with Charlie Brown and this video portrays that image perfectly.

    I'm going to say it. Charlie Brown is for Coldplay what Streets is for U2. Both are incredibly liberating songs and I would put Charlie Brown in my setlist of life.

    I don't care about the different nights (although I still don't understand the Glasto footage, and haven't seen any yet), but what I do still care about are the cutting of songs. The fact that Lovers (which I thought would for sure be on the DVD, with the confetti and balloons), Warning Sign, and Speed of Sound are not on the dvd grinds my gears. All 3 of those songs were amazing on the tour, and they are gone.

    The bonus tracks are a different story as well, but at least we get them.

    This is from an email I got today. It also confirms early thoughts that they were intending to make this more of a feature film than a proper concert DVD. That being said, maybe it'll have the same feel as U2 3D (except it's not 3D).

  11. Coming to many cinemas near me, but unfortunately it's on a Tuesday night so I can't see it...

    Fortunately, EPIX will be streaming it on the 17th through their various venues. Hopefully it's free. If not, hopefully somebody will stream it free.

    But I will be VERY VERY jealous of those who get to see this film with theater quality audio and video.
  12. I don't really get this fuzz about one-night-only releases lately. Led Zeppelin, now Coldplay... Why? Let it show for some months as most standard movies and make the most of it by allowing more people to watch it, damn!
