Personally I would be overjoyed if Cologne 1 has just this Berlin 1&2 setlist. Not for the variation, but just to know that Bono is alright...
I second that. I really do hope the man is going to be just fine. That is top of the list over any little wish list I would have. Quite happy to see the same show play out if it meant his vocal range is not harmed or hindered. I know I will be in for a good polished show from them anyway.

They could keep them and add more songs rather than short-changing us with 23 - at least in 2001 with 19/20-song sets people liked them (the sets that is)
  3. I was hoping to hear American Soul, but if they've dropped it for Europe so be it.They can play anything they want for me,not bothered. To be in the same place as the 4 of them while they play tunes that are the soundtrack of my life for last 4 decades is a privilige, and will remain so.
  4. As long as the LV man is well to do the shows and this little setback does not have future implications then thats all we can wish for in reality.

    Agreed, great point.
  6. I’ll be quite happy with no rotation if it means RFD keeps its place in the set. They’re probably not going to play that one again after this tour so hearing it twice is good with me. I would be happy for them to rotate the songs most of us have heard before with rarities or even different hits but I don’t think that’s on the cards. Bono’s voice going the other night though has made me even more grateful to be seeing them at all and made me care less about the Setlist.

Just need to add Gloria back in each night aswell, then i would be more than happy.
  8. After the Adam interview where he talks about physical condition and his workouts, and considering what just happened with Bono... Honestly I think we might starting to get lucky to still have 23 or 24 songs each nights. They started with 27 and went down, honestly the only reason has to be that it was really too hard on them for multiple nights in a row. They're almost 60 now !

They rehearsed for only 3 days or so before this leg, and there are no other songs rehearsed that we know. Where will the variation of this setlist occur? The Red Flag Day spot?

    Yeah I was concerned too.
I bought my two NY shows expecting more variation but only got one. Do I regret attending those shows? Not at all. But the experience would have been better.
I already have tickets for Dublin 2 because I knew there would be some changes from the USA setlist, but if they play the same songs on the 4 nights I don't plan to buy expensive tickets

I guess this tour is a 1-2 shows maximum if you go for variation. Only 1 night for the show itself

I wonder what the reasoning behind dropping those songs was.

We know they didn't like Horses, but what SFS and Wolves? Was it the crowds reaction?

  11. Here's a CD cover for the 31st August 2018 show if anyone wants to use it.
  12. GA showing on Eventim for Hamburg
